Corporate Research International, Inc. was founded in 1997 in Findlay, Ohio by current President and CEO, Mike Mallett.

Soon after, Corporate Research International began growing its list of clients and quickly realized that the mystery shopping industry was lacking the technology and automation necessary to make the process efficient and cost effective. As a result, Mr. Mallett began building the technology infrastructure that made Corporate Research International the first mystery shopping company with a completely automated process, and utilized the internet to do so. Technology remains the cornerstone of Corporate Research International’s service to clients today.
